To paraphrase an on old Henny Youngman joke, take my yarn. Please!
Actually it’s a lot more than just yarn. When I closed my shop, I stuck all of the remainders (and things that would have sold but never made it on the floor because it had been stuck in the wrong storage space) in my garage with plans to sell it online. Now my plans have changed; I need the space and I need the money.
What I’ve inventoried to date is worth over US$17,000 retail — not including the patterns which I’ll toss in for free. The complete list in PDF format is here: AMY_Inventory_Remainder.pdf.
There’s also another box of oddball crochet hooks (e.g., double-ended afghan hooks), some knitting books, a bead rack, and sample projects made from some of the remaindered yarn which I’ll also throw in — plus anything else I stumble across while clearing out the garage. (Need shelves? I’m looking for a good homes for some left-over shelving. You buy the remainder inventory and you can have the shelving for the cost of shipping or delivery! See photos below.)
Oh, I forgot to say what I’m asking for the remaining inventory! I’m asking US$3,200 plus shipping or best offer plus shipping. The estimated weight for everything was around 270 lbs., not including the shelving or or extras or patterns (the patterns weigh a lot ’cause there are a lot of them). If you’ll pay for the gas plus $100 towards the truck rental, I’ll deliver everything. If you live within 2 hours of Seattle, just pay the gas and any ferries.
This is a great chance to grab some things as sales “loss leaders” without the loss! Or simply fill in oddball items without having to purchase the minimum. Put together some great combination bags for your “Sale Bin” (and still make a profit!). There’s some terrific combinations for creating kits. (The Sensuale looks fantastic mixed with all kinds of things — especially SWTC Oasis, a narrow ribbon or a short-mohair.)

Carolyn;
I was shocked when I saw that you closed the store. We had moved to Port Townsend so I missed out on the sale.
Remember the kittens. I am the one with the tiger kitty. You would be amazed at Kiki, he is holding to his full name Prince Kiki Einstein. He is so smart and the most loving creature we have ever had. Kiki adopted me that day I came to visit your store. The best side trip I have ever made. I hope you are successful at selling your remainders.

Illaya, of course I remember you and I’m delighted to hear you and Prince Kiki Einstein are doing well. I hope to have some baby pictures of Prince Kiki and his brother Shadow up by the end of the weekend. His brother is doing great as the shop kitty at Java Moon Stamping Company on Washington in Sequim.
Claudia,
It was good talking with you and I wish you the best of luck. As I mentioned, I’ve had someone purchase the remaining inventory, but I’ll look for that missing box of books to donate to your shop.
