Created 4-CD set of closed eye processes, instructional conversations and guided visualizations designed to help parents of adolescents improve their comfort, confidence, skills and effectiveness.

Founder & Director, GUTS/GUTS Institute (2/97 - present)

Lead Facilitator of nonprofit youth service agency providing intensive 4-day seminars that help teens improve their self-esteem, self-efficacy, attitudes, behaviors and choices. Master Teacher/Coach for the GUTS Institute, a training center that prepares youth workers to replicate GUTS seminars and to present and debrief portable ropes Òadventured-based counselingÓ challenges and initiatives. Parent educator, through workshops, seminars and presentations to parents of adolescents. Documented teen seminar outcomes include: accelerated personal growth, increased accountability, more resistance to negative peer pressures, healthier choices, and improved results and relationships at home and school. Coach for parents of adolescents. Mediating family, victim-offender, parent-teen and other disputes; coordinating Family Group Conferences for the Division of Children and Family Services; and other group facilitation services. CEO of statewide nonprofit serving hundreds of local agencies and 30,000 individuals working to prevent and treat child abuse and neglect. CCPCA is the state's training center, information clearinghouse, public awareness catalyst, and legislative advocate for abused children and prevention of child maltreatment. During this tenure, the agency pioneered private sector prevention partnerships; developed multi-cultural competency resources for service providers; and replicated in-home family support and prevention service models statewide.

CEO of nonprofit child and family services agency for deaf/hearing-impaired residents (24-county area). Managed 40 staff & 5 centers.
